Cape Town - Last season’s second top goal scorer in the ABSA Premiership, Polokwane City's Puleng Tlolane, has agreed to a new three year contract to stay at the team until 2019.

Tlolane’s performances this past season also saw him selected for Bafana Bafana for the first time, making his debut against Cote d’Ivoire in November 2014.
Tlolane burst onto the scene for City in the 2012/13 season, when they won promotion to the PSL.
He scored seven goals for the club in the NFD, and proved that it was no fluke when in his first season in the PSL he equalled that tally.
This past season proved to be his best yet as he finished off with eleven goals, with only Moeketsi Sekola from Free State Stars scoring more.
The striker has been linked with a move away from Rise and Shine throughout the second-half of the 2014/15 campaign, with Kaizer Chiefs rumoured to be interested.
A Sport24 source close to the club said that City offered the 24-year-old a three-year deal and he agreed to it.
"Yes he has agreed to a new deal for three years and he will be at the team for another three years," the source said.
"It wasn't an easy because there were other PSL teams interested in the player.
"But now it's safe to say that he will be at the club for a longer time."
