Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler feels the club's supporters can help make the difference when the side take on Zamalek in the CAF Confederations Cup in July.
The Buccaneers touched down at OR Tambo Airport on Monday following their 1-0 Group B win over Congo giants AC Leopards at the weekend, and were greeted by a hoard of their fans.
Tinkler has now urged The Ghost to turn up in numbers when Egyptian juggernauts Zamalek visit the Mbombela Stadium for the second round of group fixtures, which take place the weekend of July 11.
"Obviously we are proud and happy that the fans came [to the airport]. But now they must come out in big numbers when we play Zamalek," said the coach.
"It's important in this competition that fans need to come to the games and fill the stadium.
"There was a good turn up when we played AC Leopards and I think you saw it on TV, that's motivation in itself.
"So the fans need to come up when we play Zamalek. It won't be an easy game."
