Tinkler fined R25 000 by PSL

Johannesburg - Orlando Pirates assistant coach, Eric Tinkler, has been handed a R25 000 suspended sentence by the PSL for insulting a match official.

According to the Soccer-Laduma website, the former Bafana Bafana midfielder, Roger de Sa’s right-hand man at Pirates, has been found guilty of directing insults at official Bafana Mosia and subsequently handed a 12-month suspended fine as well as being ordered to pay for the costs of the hearing.

While the Buccaneers were also brought before the Disciplinary Committee, they were acquitted of all charges.
