Magqwaka’s manager, Lizwe Mthethwa, confirmed that the matter which should have been adhered to on January 6 will be pushed further back as they await a date.

"The case was supposed to be today but there was an agreement to seek another alternative date,” said Mthethwa on KickOff.

“Their lawyer is only returning to the country on January 9 and only then will the new date be set.”

Mthethwa adds that the Amajita captain has not played over ten games for the Urban Warriors so it is in the player’s right to question the club and coaches decision.

“The FIFA rules stipulate very clearly that a player that has not played more than 10 games is within his rights to discuss his future with the club. At this moment he is not even in the squad for Ajax this season and it's impossible that he will play more than 10 games for the club this season.”
