The PSL Twitter table

Cape Town - What if the PSL was decided by a popularity contest? Would Kaizer Chiefs still be the runaway leaders? Which side would be threatened with relegation?

Sport24 has investigated which teams are unbeatable at home (on the internet) and which PSL sides are scoring “a social media own goal“...

Kaizer Chiefs would still be top of the pile with Orlando Pirates hot on their heels.

The rest of the table lag far behind the two Soweto giants.

Polokwane City would drop from eighth place into last position on the table if Twitter followers decided the league standings, while Chippa United would be forced into the relegation playoff position - despite being in sixth place on the PSL standings after 14 games.

The PSL Twitter table:

1. Kaizer Chiefs - 361 374 followers
