Telkom Knockout draw...

Cape Town - Giants Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns were kept apart in the Telkom Knockout semi-finals following the draw conducted on Sunday at the FNB Stadium.

Mamelodi Sundowns were drawn against their nemesis, Platinum Stars who are looking good to defend their title after eliminating Kaizer Chiefs.

Dikwena eliminated Chiefs in the quarter-final match that was decided on penalties after a goalless 120 minutes. Sundowns beat AmaZulu 2-1 to book a spot in the next round where they will now face their nemesis.

In another semi-final, Orlando Pirates will face a resurgent SuperSport United side that’s under the guidance of former Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund.

Pirates clobbered Ajax Cape Town 4-1 to progress while SuperSport beat Bidvest Wits 2-1 to reach the last four.

Dates and venues for the semis will be announced next week.

Semi-final draw:

Platinum Stars v Mamelodi Sundowns

Orlando Pirates v SuperSport United
