According to Modise’s official website, the midfielder admits that The Brazilians need to be “careful” of Pirates because of their Africa status.

“Pirates are always league contenders,” he said.

“They have a good side that proved that they can play football in the highest level.”

“They went to Africa last season and made it to the final. That to me is a team that we need to be careful of.”

“The important thing is that we need to make sure that we get maximum points.

“If we beat them now and collect valuable points, it will put us in a strong position in the title race,” said Modise.

Sundowns face Orlando Pirates on Wednesday, August 27 at 19:30.
