The Birds are placed 14th on the league standings with 15 points from as many matches.

Pirates returned to winning form by racking up their biggest win of the season, 4-0 at home to Ajax Cape Town on Saturday.

The Soweto giants have claimed 11 points from seven away matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are Bloemfontein Celtic (home), AmaZulu (away) and Polokwane City (home).

The Buccaneers are placed fifth on the PSL log with 22 points from 15 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Swallows and Pirates have met in 59 league matches since 1985.
