Swallows to attack more - Lefa

Cape Town - Moroka Swallows captain Lefa Tsutsulupa has revealed that Fani Madida’s approach is more offensive than Zeca Marques.

Tsutsulupa returned to action in Swallows’ 1-0 loss to SuperSport United after the midfielder recovered from an ankle injury that has kept the player out since August.

According to Soccer Laduma, Tsutsulupa admits that the difference between Madida and Marques is evident because of his Madida’s playing days.

"Coach Fani Madida is more offensive in his approach. This is because he was an attacking player in his playing days,” said Tsutsulupa.

“It’s a different approach from coach Zeca. This time we are focusing a lot more in our offensive play. It’s interesting how different coaches approach the game.”

Tsutsulupa added that Swallows are more focussed on creating goal scoring opportunities.

Swallows face the University of Pretoria when the Absa Premiership resumes on Saturday, November 22 at Dobsonville Stadium.

Kick-Off is at 18:00.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
