Cape Town - Moroka Swallows are set to embark on a series of negotiations with players whose contracts will expire within the next six to 12 months.

That list of players includes in-form striker Siyabonga Nomvethe, who is expected to extend his stay at the club until after 2015.
Regardless of what eventually happens with Nomvethe and some of his team-mates during the course of the next few month, Swallows spokesman Sipho Xulu said it was far too early to make any pronouncements on the matter.
"It is still early to talk about what will happen to every player in the club, because that is between the club and the players concerned," Xulu told goal.com.
"However, what I can confirm at the moment is that we are talking to all the players who are nearing the end of the their contracts, not only Nomvethe.
"This is because their situations are different, and once we are done with the players concerned, then we will make necessary announcements, but for now let our supporters calm down, because we are doing everything we can to make sure that we keep our best players."
Xulu also indicated that efforts would be made to bolster the squad during the transfer window but again remained mum on the matter because some of the negotiations were still a work in progress.
"We will definitely sign new players. We have already started talking to those players, and we will only reveal their names once everything is done," concluded Xulu.
