Johannesburg - Bradley Grobler scored the only goal of the game at the Peter Mokaba Stadium as SuperSport United beat Golden Arrows 1-0 to progress to the Nedbank Cup semi-finals.

SuperSport look the more dangerous of the two sides from the off and probably should have taken the lead as early ad the 12th minute but Jeremy Brockie could only shoot straight at Maximilian Mbaevu after losing his marker.

Moments later and Dove Wome was guilty of similar profligacy in front of goal as he dragged hopelessly wide from Thuso Phala's cross when it looked easier to score.
