Sundowns undecided on Castro

Pretoria - Mamelodi Sundowns have not yet made their final decision on whether they will sign Colombian striker Leonardo Castro, who has been training with the team for the past two weeks.

The 26-year-old forward has played for a number of clubs in his professional career, most recently in the Bolivian Premier League for Club Unviversitario.

A source at the club said that though the technical team have been impressed with what they have seen from the striker, but as far as they know there is nothing yet on the table.

"No decision has been made yet about Castro," the source said.

“Yes, he is a very good striker and the coaches are happy with him, but nothing has been done yet.

“I am not even sure whether there are talks yet or they still want to look at him more.

“He has been scoring during friendly games and he look great.”
