Sundowns star in car crash

Cape Town -  Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Khama Billiat has walked away with minor bruises after being involved in car crash.

According the club's official website, Billiat's car veered off the road and hit a tree.

Dr Carl Tabane confirmed that Billiat suffered minor bruises to his neck and chest and should be back to full health in no time. The tricky midfielder will most likely miss the next league match against Free State Stars on Wednesday as he was given time off till Tuesday.

“We are glad to announce that Khama escaped the accident, which could have been worse considering that he avoided an oncoming car”

“Just as a precautionary measure the player has been given a few days off and will be further assessed when he returns to training on Tuesday.”
