Sundowns too strong for Cosmos

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns are keeping fit during the FIFA international break by playing a series of friendly matches.

Goals from Surprise Moriri, Bongi Ntuli and Uzoenyi Ejike ensured a 3-1 victory over Jomo Cosmos.

Downs scored first through Surprise Moriri but the NFD side equalised shortly.

According to Sundowns website, the friendly match was played over three halves of 30 Minutes. The second 30 minutes saw no goals from either side but in the last, Sundowns showed more character.

Luyolo Nomandela collected the ball from his own half and eliminated opponents before releasing Ntuli who put Sundowns ahead with a beautifully taken goal.

Rodney Ramagalela was not to be outdone as he too tore Cosmos apart down the right side with blistering pace and set up Ejike who put the match to rest.

Sundowns return to Absa Premiership action when they face Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, November 22.

Kick-off is at 15:30.
