During the past month there has been tremendous speculation about Klate’s future, and there are now strong indications that he will get an improved deal at the Buccaneers before the current transfer window closes.
"I have a meeting with the Pirates chairman later this week to discuss Daine's future," Sukazi told Goal.
Klate moved to Orlando Pirates from SuperSport United during the 2010/11 season and has been a critical cog in the squad during his entire stay in Soweto.
This term he has already played in 13 of the club’s 17 Premiership matches and has contributed to the campaign with a goal of his own.
Klate remains one of the most successful footballers in the local game with five consecutive league titles under his belt between 2008 and 2012. Two of those titles were won during his tenure at Pirates.
