Stars not bothered by Chiefs venue changes

Cape Town - Platinum Stars have no qualms about Kaizer Chiefs' decision to change the venue of their Premiership match to Cape Town, the club's football manager Senzo Mazingiza said.

Amakhosi usually host their home games at the FNB Stadium, but have opted to take three of their home fixtures this season to the Mother City.

The encounter against Stars at the Cape Town Stadium is set for January 24, while Wits will arrive on December 19 and SuperSport on February 20.

"We don't have a problem playing our match against Kaizer Chiefs in Cape Town," Mazingiza told KickOff.

"It's really none of our business where teams choose to their play home matches, we will honour the fixture where it's played.

"There is no rule that says that when a home team decides to change venue they must cover the travelling costs of the away team.

"Such a rule doesn't exist, so we will cover our costs when we travel to Cape Town."
