Cape Town - Jomo Sono has no doubt in his mind Jomo Cosmos will be able to steer clear of relegation in the Absa Premiership this season.
Ezenkosi have struggled to adapt to the top flight of South African football after earning promotion from the National First Division via the play-offs.
They find themselves languishing second from bottom in the league standings, after collecting just three points from their opening six fixtures.
Despite the worrying start to life in the Absa Premiership, Sono is confident his side will be able to prove their detractors wrong come the end of the campaign."The break has given us time to work and correct our mistakes," Sono was quoted as saying by Soccer Laduma."I know many people think we cannot change the situation but I am telling you that we will change the situation and remain in the PSL at the end of the season."In the play-offs, when we lost to Black Leopards, people wrote us off but I told them that we will be promoted and here we are. The same will happen in the PSL - we won't be relegated because we are here to stay.
"We just have to work on the few mistakes and then starting scoring goals then everything will be fine for us."
