Johannesburg - Jomo Sono remains defiant to the end despite Jomo Cosmos looking destined for a swift return to the National First Division.
Ezenkosi, who drew 0-0 with AmaZulu in midweek, are propping up the PSL table with 17 points - six behind Santos but with a game in hand on the 15th-placed People's Team.
Cosmos next host Maritzburg United on Saturday before ending their campaign against fellow strugglers Black Leopards and Santos.
Sono insists his team still has an outside shot of surviving.
"We're still in intensive care, but should not be buried before we are dead, so don't buy a coffin just yet," Sono told the league's official website.
"Wait for us to play Leopards and Santos, then bury me.
"It will be the first time in six games that I'll have a full team, so I can assure you that both those sides will get a run for their money."
He continued: "We're used to these fighting situations, playoffs, relegation, but first we have to make sure we pick up the three points from that game in hand against Maritzburg.
"If we can do that, it will take us to 20 and the other two games will be cup finals for Cosmos," concluded the Black Prince.
