Cape Town - Themba Sithole will remain at Free State Stars despite rumours linking him with the assistant position’s role at Golden Arrows.
Sithole is a former teammate of newly appointed Golden Arrows coach, Serame Letsoaka, and the two have been linked with a reunion at the KwaZulu-Natal side.
“As far as we know as the club, there is no offer for Themba and he will be here in the new season assisting Kinnah Phiri,” the source said.
“Of course, we are aware of the reports that have linked him with a move to Golden Arrows, but as far as we know there is no official offer for his services.”
Ea Lla Koto Chairman, Mike Mokoena, recently told Sport24 that the club will not make any changes to their technical team and will only be adding new faces to their playing staff.
The Free State base side are in their third week of pre-season and are also expected to hold their camp in Benoni in the next few weeks while their annual award ceremony will be held on July 22.
