Sikhakhane proud of his players

Cape Town - Chippa United head coach Roger Sikhakhane praised his players after they earned a goalless draw against defending Premiership champions Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday.

The Chilli Boys played most of the game with 10 men after Joseph Molangoane was sent off in the first half, but Sikhakhane's team defended well and was able to keep Amakhosi at bay.

"We didn't plan to play like this but it is part of football those are the deals, we prepare the players when we do our training. Sometimes we have to go on with one man down and carry on," Sikhkhane told Soccer Laduma.

"I am very proud of the way we played. We were one man down and some of them already had yellow cards, but they weren't afraid to play.

"They didn't pull out, they went all out to get the maximum points, but unfortunately we only got the one point at home."
