Siem extends PSL stay

Johannesburg - Premier Soccer League’s Chief Executive Officer, Kjetil Siem, will have his stay at the job extended until the end of the season.

Siem told the Siya crew that since the chairman, Irvin Khoza, and his board are yet to tell him something different he will serve the league until such time that he has to hand over to the new person when he is appointed.

“I made a promise to help with the proper handing over to the new man and the chairman and his board agreed so I am waiting for any advice from them but for now I will stay put,” said Siem.

One of the people tasked with the search of a new CEO revealed that they are yet to get the new person.

He told the Siya crew that Siem will remain the CEO until the end of the season. There was no time frame or any kind of clue that was given as to when the new person will be made known to the public when found.
