Cape Town - Bidvest Wits will not be keeping midfielder, Sandile Sibande, when his contract expires at the end of the month.

Sibande was on loan at Moroka Swallows, and a Sport24 source says that the Wits technical team feel that there is no room for him.

"They loaned him out because they felt that there was no place for him in the team," the source said.

"Now that his contract is coming to an end they won't be renewing it.

"I think the team won't renew his contract because they have enough players in his position.

"I am not sure if he will be staying at Swallows or he will be looking for another club."

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
