Amakhosi have already missed out on the Telkom Knockout and MTN8 titles this season, although they currently sit third in the PSL standings and are still to contest the Nedbank Cup later this term.
And Chiefs ace Tshabalala, who has been invited for a 10-day trial with English Championship side Palace this month, believes the Soweto titans have what it takes to lay their hands on silverware this term.
"We all know what the team is capable of in terms of winning trophies and we were not at our best in 2011 or in the first-half of the season. Two trophies are gone but there is still the Nedbank Cup and the Premiership title to play for," he told Chiefs' official website.
"In the league we have not been doing badly at all if you look at the difference between ourselves and the teams ahead of us.
"We need to be consistent and finish the chances that we create.
"If we can do that then we will achieve our objective to bring the title to Naturena.
"Personally, it remains my ambition to win the league with Chiefs and we will be giving our best in the New Year to achieve this goal."
Tshabalala, who has been excused from Bafana Bafana's downgraded match against 2012 Africa Cup of Nations co-hosts Equatorial Guinea this week, admits his recent goal drought is of some concern, but remains happy with his contribution to his club.
"I have scored one goal in 15 games. This concerns me but at the same time I have made lot of assists this season," he added.
"There is always a room for improvement but I am satisfied with my contribution in the past couple of months."
