September: Pirates won’t be easy

Cape Town - SuperSport United right-back Thabo September said he is looking forward to playing against Orlando Pirates.

September said although it is still the beginning of the season he is hopeful that SuperSport will do well as the season progresses.

“It’s the start of the season for both teams so we are definitely looking forward to this game as a team,” he told Sport24.

“Pirates are a great team with quality players but this should be a motivation for us.

“Obviously Pirates is confident about this match but we are equally confident.

“It won’t be easy but we will play to the best of our ability. We will use every aspect to our advantage and make sure we cause a bit of trouble for Pirates.

“We are a good team and have a great coach. Respect to coach Igesund. This is going to be an exciting match for sure.”

SuperSport will play against Orlando Pirates Tuesday, August 11 at the Peter Mokaba stadium in the Absa Premiership clash.

Kick-off is at 19:30.
