Having taken the Premiership Golden Boot after scoring 14 goals this past season, the 26-year-old has attracted interest from numerous clubs, with Kaizer Chiefs mentioned as one of his suitors.

However, Sekola was quick to dismiss any talk of a move to one of the bigger clubs in the South African top-flight.

“I don't know anything [about speculation of a move to Chiefs],” Sekola told KickOff.

“Rumours will remain rumours. As far as I know I am a Free State Stars player, I am still contracted to the club for next season.

“I want to continue to play for Free State Stars next season.”
