The Urban Warriors confirmed the deal via their official website. Scott is one of Ajax’s longest serving players and has been at the club since the tender age of 12.
Ajax scouted Scott at his former club Kensington AFC at an annual Under-15 tournament.
He progressed through the Ajax Youth Academy before signing his professional contract with the club and then excelling as the captain in 2012/13 season. He is a shining example of the club philosophy “No Youth No Future’.
The midfielder told the Ajax website that he wants to score more and is determined to do well.
“I'm a holding midfielder, so sometimes it’s difficult to move forward but I want to win cups and silverware, I want to do better this season. I'm confident we can win something and top eight should definitely be a priority,” Scott said.
The Warrior is keen to make changes this upcoming season as he has a big responsibility this year as one of the senior players in the squad.
The 26-year-old is determined and hoping to make a greater contribution in the upcoming season. The past few seasons have been disrupted by a series of unfortunate injuries.
The midfielder has had a good pre-season under his belt and is looking forward going into the upcoming season as he is looking fit and sharp.
