Scott: We are going all out against Wits

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town midfielder Granwald Scott said that the team is planning on going all out when they face Bidvest Wits in the MTN8 semi-final clash.

The 27-year-old told Sport24 that no matter the weather circumstances, the game will still work in their favour and they will make sure they block out all gaps that may give Wits the opportunity to score any goals.

“It’s a home game so we have to take full advantage of that, so we are planning on going all out but not be naive to open gaps for them to score at the back you know,” Scott said.

“I think we will try to keep the game 0-0 for as long as we can and if we get a goal it will be good for the team.

“I think the weather will play a role here but this should go in our favour and Gavin always comes down for pre-season training and they have been training there so I think this will work out for us."

The Urban Warriors will take on the Students at the Coetzenburg Stadium in the MTN8 semi-final clash.

Kick-off is at 20:15.
