Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns captain Alje Schut hopes to taste Nedbank Cup glory before he departs at the end of the season.

According to KickOff, Schut is set to return to his native land of Netherlands and start on his coaching badges.

However, before the 34-year-old leaves he hopes to bag the Nedbank Cup as the 2012 Telkom Knockout defeat against Bloemfontein Celtic.

“If we don’t win anything this season I will be really disappointed,” said Schut.

“I would love to win the Nedbank Cup; I haven’t won a cup here and obviously this is my last chance.

“Obviously losing that Telkom is still on my mind. It’s going to be an important prize for me and the team. We are going all out.”

Meanwhile, Schut will shift his focus to the Absa Premiership as they prepare to face Chippa United on Wednesday, March 17.

Kick-off is at 19:30.
