According to Soccer Laduma, Sarr revealed that the Pirates players have been struggling to adapt to the hectic schedule this season.

“It was a very tough game because we play Saturday, Wednesday, Saturday, Wednesday – it is very tough and we felt it in the field of play today,” Sarr said after Pirates' 1-1 draw against Moroka Swallows on Wednesday night.

Sarr confessed that he wanted to push further forward up the field, but orders from Eric Tinkler was for the holding midfielder to remain in his defensive role as Pirates played with three strikers.

“Since I have come to Pirates the coach has always given me advice and talked to me because he was playing the same position as a player.”

Pirates will play Bloemfontein Celtic in their last PSL game for the year.

Kick-off is at 20:15 on Saturday, December 20.
