Sangweni: Everyone worked hard

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates defender, Siyabonga Sangweni, tells Sport24 that everyone worked hard and that's why they managed to win in Congo-Brazzaville on the weekend.

The Buccaneers survived the onslaught as they overcame a determined AC Leopards of Congo to win 1-0 in their CAF Confederation Cup group stage game.

Sangweni said that it was not easy because from the first whistle their opponents fought to score at home and they had to control that and win.

"Everyone in the team worked hard," Sangweni said.

“We had to withstand the pressure from Leopards and we finally managed to hold on after scoring and it's good we won the game and it was a good result for the team.

“We will continue working on that.”
