Cape Town - AmaZulu will look to continue their fight for Absa Premiership survival when they host SuperSport United at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

AmaZulu played to their ninth draw of the league season when they were held goalless by Platinum Stars in midweek.

The Durban side has claimed 14 points from 13 home matches this season.

Their remaining league opponents are University of Pretoria (away) and Maritzburg United (home).

Usuthu are placed 15th on the Absa Premiership log with 24 points from 27 matches.

SuperSport suffered their 12th league defeat of the season when they were beaten 4-1 away at Orlando Pirates in midweek.

The Tshwane side has claimed 17 points from 13 away matches this season.

Their remaining league opponents are Mamelodi Sundowns (home) and Polokwane City (away).

Matsatsantsa are placed eighth on the Absa Premiership log with 35 points from 27 matches.

In head-to-head stats, AmaZulu and SuperSport have met in 39 league matches since 1990.

Matsatsantsa have claimed 18 wins compared to 12 for Usuthu, while nine matches have been drawn.

AmaZulu have won nine of their 20 home matches against SuperSport, suffering six defeats in the process.

When the teams met earlier this season, Usuthu claimed an emphatic 5-2 away win in Tshwane.

Kick-off is at 20:15 on Saturday, May 2.
