SSU sign star Zim goalkeeper

Johannesburg - SuperSport United have signed Zimbabwe African Nations Championship (CHAN) goalkeeper George Chigova on Monday.

The 22-year-old, who was with Harare-based national champions Dynamos, conceded only two goals during six 2014 CHAN games in South Africa to help his country finish fourth.

A SuperSport official said the Zimbabwean signed a three-year deal and plans to join Pretoria outfit SuperSport in mid-year ahead of the 2014-2015 season.

He will compete for a first-team place with Ronwen Williams, who is the third-choice South Africa goalkeeper behind Itumeleng Khune and Senzo Meyiwa.
