According to the club's website, SuperSport United will put all their concentration into 2014/15 PSL opener when they take on Bidvest Wits at Bidvest Stadium on Saturday night with Matsatsantsa's loss to Orlando Pirates now water under the bridge.

Coach Cavin Johnson gave four of his new signings a run with new skipper Clayton Daniels and Michael Morton playing full match while Lerato Manzini and Andile Fikizolo started off the bench respectively.

Last season, SuperSport lost 3-2 to Wits in the first round and the second round score ended goalless (0-0).

Visitors SuperSport will rely on players such as David Mathebula, Thuso Phala, Mor Diouf, Sibusiso Khumalo and Jabu Mahlangu.

Hosts Wits will rely on new signing Henrico Botes, Ryan Chapman, Onismor Bhasera, Jabulani Shongwe and their captain Sibusiso Vilakazi who netted a hat-trick against the Tshwane-based-outfit last season.

The match kicks off at 20:15 on Saturday, August 9.
