Rodgers aims to outwit Ajax youngsters

Cape Town – Platinum Stars striker Eleazar Rodgers admits that he looks forward to facing his former club Ajax Cape Town.

According to KickOff, the lanky striker spent six months at Ikamva and now looks to disrupt the young defensive duo of Rivaldo Coetzee and Abbubakar Mobara when Dikwena face the Urban Warriors over the weekend.

“They are quality players and they both have a bright future ahead of the them,” he says.

“They are very pacey and read the game well.

“However, as good as they are, they lack the necessary experience and this is where I can outwit them.”

The Rustenburg side currently find themselves leading the PSL pack on the Absa Premiership log with 14 points after 6-matches while Ajax are in seventh place.

Stars and Ajax lock horns on Sunday, October 14 at the Moruleng Stadium.

Kick-off is at 15:30.
