According to KickOff, Coetzee suffered a groin injury against Maritzburg United which kept the defender out of the Urban Warriors 1-0 win over Bloemfontein Celtic.

“Rivaldo should be ready for the game and we gave him a little rest after flying around," said De Sa.

Coetzee was nominated for an South African Sport Award and flew out to Johannesburg for the event. The 18-year-old was nominated in the Rookie of the Year category.

“He trained and had a full session on Friday and he went to Johannesburg for the Sports Awards on Sunday then returned on Monday and had a little session,” concluded De Sa.

Ajax clash with the Dube Birds on Wednesday, December 3 in a Absa Premiership encounter.

Kick-off is at 19:30.
