The club’s CEO, Khumbulani Konco, has already confirmed that the club will be releasing the Zambian defender while Ritchie is on the verge of a move to Mpumalanga Black Aces.

Both players were signed last year; however the team has decided to let them go of them as they feel it’s in the interest of the two parties.

Nkausu was loaned to Pretoria University in the second half of the 2014/15 season but struggled for game time starting only two matches.

Ritchie on the other made a requested to the club to be released as he wanted to be closer to his family in Johannesburg.

While Celtic is yet to confirm Ritchie’s departure, a source at the club told Sport24 that the player is on his way out for a team in Gauteng.

“Ritchie made a requested to be placed to a team based in Johannesburg as he wanted to be closer to his family,” said the source.

“I think Kaizer Chiefs had also shown interest of having him back, but only time will tell where he ends up."
