Ritchie: Chiefs is home

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs returnee defender, Keagan Ritchie, has told Sport24 that Chiefs is like home to him and that's why he agreed to re-join the team after two years away from the club.

Ritchie said that he is now more mature than he was in his first spell with the club.

The left-back parted ways with Chiefs to join Slavia Prague in February 2014, but returned to South Africa a few months later, where he was snapped up Bloemfontein Celtic.

"This is like home to me,” said Ritchie.

"I always feel welcome here. You know I was here before going to Europe to try things and that didn't work out and I came back and joined Bloemfontein Celtic, but now I am back here where it feels like home.

"I know what to expect and I am ready for the competition here at home.”

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
