Cape Town - On-loan Golden Arrows striker Rodney Ramagalela praised his team-mates after their Absa Premiership win over his parent club Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday.
Ramagalela was shipped out to Arrows in the off-season after struggling for regular game time at the star-studded Sundowns.
A 10-man Sundowns crashed to Arrows at the Chatsworth Stadium after midfielder Bongani Zungu was red-carded in the first half. The Brazilians have lost two matches and drawn one and won one in the Premiership for their four points on the table.
"The boys were motivated for the game against Sundowns. Games like that don’t need extra motivation. It was easy for them. After the red card that’s when we made things happen," Ramagalela told Soccer Laduma.
"Our aim is not to lose our home games. If we play away and get a draw, it won’t be a bad result for us.
"We are going to scare whoever is coming to play us at home. They must fear us. They must feel who is owning in KZN. The boys are humble and showing character to work hard for the team.
"I, Mabhuti (Khenyeza), (Philani) Zikalala, (Mwape) Musonda, (Ryan) Chapman and the other experienced players are helping the team to go forward and to get the boys to get used to playing in the PSL."
