De Sa eyeing Masuku deal

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town coach, Roger de Sa, has confirmed he is considering a move for free agent Khethokwakhe Masuku.

Having coached Masuku three seasons ago at Orlando Pirates, De Sa is looking to strengthen some key departments in his current team.

The 29-year-old would bring a wealth of experience to the youthful Urban Warriors, and the tactician is preparing to offer terms ahead of the 2015/16 season.

"I had a chat with the chairman the other day and we are looking at about 25 players," De Sa told KickOff.

"I believe we are happy with what we have but I still think we need another three players and we are going to get them hopefully before the Cape Town Cup gets underway [on Friday]. One is pretty close and the next two, I think by the end of the week.

"We looked at a few players and he’s [Masuku] one of them, but there’s a lot of players we’ve been in touch with.."
