Qalinge was one of three goal scorers (Kermit Erasmus and Lehlohonolo Majoro) as Pirates thumped City 3-0 before ‘Section 10’ was substituted in the 69th minute.

Qalinge sustained a knock to his back in a collision with City centre-back Thapelo Tshilo.

“Qalinge is okay – he got a strong knock on his back and was treated just for pain,” the medical team confirmed to the clubs official website.

“He is okay to resume training with the rest of the squad.”
