Cape Town - With Free State Stars hovering dangerously above the
relegation zone, their aim against Ajax Cape Town on Tuesday will be nothing
less than maximum points.

Every available point at this
point in the season is crucial for Stars, who are two points above the
relegation chop with AmaZulu breathing down their necks.
Stars have been less than
impressive this season as they have struggled to string together a good run of
form to put themselves in a good position in the Premiership table.
In 25 league matches Stars have
accumulated 25 points and will be desperate to start moving up the table as the
season nears its conclusion.
Stars are in 14th position in the
league standings, but are not home and dry yet as the points difference between
the bottom-half continues to shrink.
At Goble Park, Stars will be up
against an in-form Ajax outfit who have won four of their last five league
The sixth-placed Ajax came out
tops the last time the two sides met, recording a 2-1 win in the first round in
Cape Town earlier this season.
Stars, meanwhile, have one win in
their last five league matches. Ea Lla Koto recently broke a string of poor
performances with a 3-2 win against Polokwane City in the league.
The Urban Warriors' objective,
meanwhile, is to consolidate their place in the top eight. With 37 points, Ajax
are 23 points adrift of league leaders Kaizer Chiefs.
