Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town have no time to stress over their blemished home record as they prepare for the visit of Platinum Stars for a Absa Premiership encounter.

The Urban Warriors' 100% home record was tainted by a 1-0 defeat against in-form Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday, much to the disappointment of their faithful in Block 116 at Cape Town Stadium.

Ajax have an opportunity to redeem themselves in this home clash against an ailing Dikwena, who are searching for answers following their recent struggles.

Despite delivering two trophies to the Phokeng club last season, head coach Allan Freese is under pressure to turn around his side's fortunes.

They suffered their fourth defeat of the campaign on Saturday, as they were beaten 3-1 by Maritzburg United and are within touching distance of the relegation zone as a result.

Ajax will be missing assistant coach Ian Taylor, who was sent off for using foul language against an official during the match against Chiefs.

There are no serious concerns, with a clean bill of health reported by the playing personnel, although coach Roger De Sa may consider some changes to his starting line-up to avoid potential player burnout.

Stars go into this clash sitting 13th place with eight points, having collected from eight points from as many matches, while the hosts sit in fifth with 14 points from their eight outings.

Kick-off is scheduled for 19:00 at Cape Town Stadium.
