Pitso still searching the transfer market

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says he is putting the final touches on his squad as they gear up for the start of the 2015/16 season.

Mosimane is keen to bolster his strike department, with Colombian forward Leonardo Castro expected to join Burundian poacher Fiston Abdul Razak in penning terms in Chloorkop.

"The Colombian is scoring. He has been scoring and scoring. He looks good, he is big, also good in the air," Mosimane told KickOff.

"We like what we saw, we like what we are seeing and hopefully we can sign him. I think we can sign him."

When quizzed about his plans to fill the void left by departed skipper Alje Schut, Mosimane said: "To replace Alje with the same kind of player is difficult and we have not found a player to that level.

"There are players to that level but they play in Europe. That is where Alje is coming from and we can't compete with European teams. We are still looking in Africa and South America and hopefully we will get something."
