According to KickOff.com, Mosimane felt that his side has sent out a message to all the criticism they have been receiving since the start of the new campaign.
“We are coaches, we are trained, we put our heads and our bodies on the line, okay,” said Mosimane after goals from Mame Niang and Kudakwashe Mahachi handed The Brazilians a comfortable victory.
Mosimane responded strongly to the negative talk surrounding Mame Niang. The Sundowns coach was confident his side would brush off all the criticisim and continue to fight on towards PSL glory, much in the same way they did last season when they won the PSL title.
Despite the calls for his job, Mosimane was glad that his team could deliver the goods against Swallows and was particularly happy that the team delivered the kind of performance that the Sundowns fans deserved.
“Let's be honest, it was one-way traffic hey. Not to say we won and trying to be arrogant but from the word go, you come here to a very good team.” added Mosimane.
Speaking on the road ahead for his team, Pitso said: "It's a good team. They will come right, they need confidence and we'll start to come up again.”
