Pitso, Schut receive DC charge

Cape Town - The PSL's Disciplinary Committee have handed out fines to Mamelodi Sundowns duo Pitso Mosimane and Alje Schut following a hearing at the weekend.

The pair were brought up on charges of misconduct and unsporting behaviour for their actions during the Premiership fixture against Mpumalanga Black Aces on April 8.

The DC have since found head coach Mosimane and outgoing captain Schut guilty, and are expected to reveal the extent of the fines later on Sunday.

Mosimane's fine is in relation to his post-match comments regarding the referee, in which he said: "I think [referee] Thabo [Nkosi] must be the man of the match hey?

“Thabo did very well, he stole the show! He reminds me of [Victor] Gomes - he also steals the show."

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
