Cape Town - Pitso Mosimane has confirmed that Mamelodi Sundowns have no interest in signing Oupa Manyisa.

According to Goal website, Mosimane put all rumours to bed on whether Sundowns are secretly trying to lure the Orlando Pirates Midfielder to Chloorkop.

"At Sundowns we also read the newspapers and we see what is said in the media," Mosimane said.

"I need to be clear on this one, Sundowns don't want Oupa Manyisa.

“We don't want him.”

The Bafana Bafana midfielder’s deal with the Buccaneers is said to be in its last year and there has been no reports of an extended deal.

The 26-year-old and club chairperson Irvin Khoza have reportedly opened up discussions but nothing has been finalised yet as the player could still leave as a free agent at the end of the season if both parties don’t come to an agreement.

Meanwhile, the Sea Robbers' next match will be against Free State Stars at Orlando Stadium with the match scheduled for a 20:15 kick-off on Saturday, October 18 when the PSL resumes.

Sundowns on the other hand return to action on the same day at Loftus Versfeld against Bidvest Wits.

Kick-off is at 18:00.
