Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane admitted his side are yet to find top gear this season, but said for now he is happy to see the team "grinding results".
The Brazilians managed to lift some pressure off of the under-fire coach after Sunday's 2-0 win over Jomo Cosmos made it back-to-back Absa Premiership victories following last their midweek success over Ajax Cape Town.
Those wins have left the Chloorkop giants in a three-way tie for fifth, just four points off the pace at the top, although Mosimane knows his side can deliver much more, especially after losing two of their opening six league matches.
"You can see we are playing in drips and drabs; we are not really convincing. And I know why… because there's pressure, because there's stress," said Mosimane.
"The players are feeling the pressure that we have to win and that we don't want to make mistakes. But we've been talking about leaving zero behind, and we kept zero behind today."
He added: "We are not playing very well, I know. But at this point we are grinding results, we need the results, and we need the supporters behind us. They are there and we can't ask for more."
