Pirates switch focus to CAF

Johannesburg - Orlando Pirates assistant coach Teboho Moloi says the Buccaneers are now switching their focus back to the CAF Confederation Cup as they prepare to face CS Sfaxien of Tunisia on Saturday, following their MTN8 quarter-final elimination.

The Buccaneers failed to transfer their impressive continental form to a domestic cup clash as they went down 1-0 to Ajax Cape Town.

Pirates will be looking to continue where they left off two weeks ago, where they defeated Sfaxien 1-0 in their Group B clash.

Moloi believes that their loss to Ajax was just a learning curve for the Soweto giants and they will be looking to redeem themselves over the weekend.

“Yes on Saturday we’ll be playing against CS Sfaxien once again," said Moloi

“I hope that our loss Ajax Cape Town was just a learning curve for the boys.

“I hope that our tremendous form in the Confederation Cup can still stand up and be in good stead, especially when CS Sfaxien gets here on Saturday.

“That’s where our focus is at the moment.”

Kick-off for this encounter is set for 20:15.
