Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler says that playing against Chippa United is going to be another challenge especially after they held Kaizer Chiefs to a draw.
Tinkler told Sport24 that Chippa United have been proving themselves with every match they have played and hopes that Pirates will be able to close them down.
“Well it is obviously going to be a challenge tomorrow when we go against Chippa,” Tinkler said.
“Chippa have been proving themselves match after match that they are the team to contend with.
“They played an impeccable game against Chiefs and they really held them down which means we have to close all the gaps that may be open for them to score any goals.
“We are planning on locking them down with our defence and give them a bit of trouble.
The Buccaneers mentor admits that they looking to lock Chippa down and give them trouble on the field.
Tinkler spoke highly of Mayambela and Twala whom he says are brilliant players and will have to be on the lookout for them.
“William Twala is a very skillful player, Mark Mayambela; a very physical player at the back there- these are the players who cause a lot of trouble on the field, so we looking to hold them down,” he concluded.
Orlando Pirates will see Chippa United on Tuesday, August 18 at the Orlando stadium in the Absa Premiership clash.
Kick-off is at 19:30.
