Johannesburg - Assault charges laid against two Premier Soccer League players were dropped on Monday, according to a report.
Orlando Pirates players Andile Jali and Ndumiso Mabena were expected to appear in the Randburg Magistrate's Court following allegations that they assaulted a man on Saturday night, eNews reported.
The 26-year-old man, who was allegedly assaulted by the two in Woodmead on Saturday night, dropped the charges, reported the television news channel.
Jali and Mabena were arrested in Sandton on Sunday.
The pair were granted R1000 bail each on Sunday.
